Wow, 9 percent approval rateing. I guess the reason we haven’t revolted yet is that our government even though it is way to big, isn’t big enough to piss us off. It doesn’t interfere enough to warrent a mass outcry. Now think what problems we could solve if the EPA would give us a couple of hundread thousand of Acres for energy production.

Hope for change Obama.

Disclaimer: not pro Obama.
Change it around for change! Obama is running agaisnt a congresman who while in office the ratings of congress droped to 17% compared to the presidents 32%. Yea I think I see where america wants change. Oil wow that changed quickly, I bet it will continue to change under Obama. I think the supply problem should be solved if we depend on Iowa corn next year to wean our dependance off of Oil. Drill for the Oil reserves that are offshore and could replace 30% of our oil needs ( you know the percent that we get from countrys that we look askance at.) I know I just got a great idea we should go socialist, preserveing our freedoms, look how well that worked out for the farmers of Cuba. One of our biggest exports in this contry is food. Workers of the world we could have Englands health care. Or we can take money away from Exxon and BP in hopes that they will give us cheaper gas. I got it we can elect a man who promises the world gives it and pays for it in debt. Oh yeah we did that 2 years ago. and 4 years ago and 8 years ago, and 12 years ago.
No health care that will suck( thats the government type, they can’t even run their restaurants). And Oil drilling offshore sounds like a fine idea.
You Obama supporters don’t sound like you believe me. I put it to you in an argument.
Britain’s, Cuba and Canada’s health systems have unacceptable waits in the emergency rooms. The government understaffs or overstaffs the system in places. Money is wasted. Lots of money.
Oil supply problems can only be solved by more oil being drilled or by coal glassification, and offshore is the most fesiable for 20 million barrels of day we need to even begin to be independent. If we are not indepented no one will be able to afford the new cars that run on hydrogen.

While thinking in the shower.
May 16, 2008 · No Comments
I was thinking of a path in my mind that I think I should write. If nothing else to clarify my thought process.
If there is one thing more important then life, it has to be the freedom to choose the right way. Freedom, it is more important than life is it not? Is that not true? Do I not justify killing in self defense? War in defense of your homeland is defense of your life and others. Your life, your wife , your children, others wife’s and children. Is this not why we like and support our soldiers?
Well what was the war in Iraq, what was the explination? What was the reasons again, 1) WMD. Essentially these guys are crazy enough to use these things and state we are their enemy. Colin Powel was convinced, so was congress. Saddam was bluffing, he had the capabilities, he had prototypes, he used the prototypes. Not even Iran can have that said about that. And Iran is the biggest threat. 2) WMD not there. hmm. So we are there for the Kurds and Iraqs, So they can be free from Saddam who was a very bad person who restricted said freedoms. 3) So we can fight the terrorist are over there instead of over here. All but the last falls into well we are there because we are fighting for freedom. Notice what is not there. Oil was not a reason, neither was He shot at my daddy. Oil was getting out of Iraq before the war. The profits were going to an absolutely corrupt UN, Saddam, and as I just finish reading about in Comrade J, Russia. Oil for food was a wonderful program to stop. It would have been better to fly planes over Iraq even with fuel prices and parachute supplies into Iraq. The 60 billion would have bought a lot of those supplies. The Idea was a good one but the UN was (and still is) incompatant. And yes the US woke up to that program way to late. I used to think the UN did no good anywhere. I have softened my stance but I still don’t like the Organization. The problem is that I am not sure how to replace it. I wonder if the world would be better off without it. Don’t know.
How about abortion. What is more important than life. Freedom to choose the right thing. So if the baby endagers your life and hence your freedom is endager. Rape and incest especially of an underage or teenage female I could see an abortion. Because I can’t take care of the baby is not necessarily a choice because there are people that could adopt.
What about what is right. Moral laws come from religion. So should a government chose the best religion? I don’t think so. I think the Founding Fathers were inspired by God. God didn’t reveal what was the best path to them but created a place on the earth where religion would not be shoved out the door. And allowed the people to make the rules. It gave us a chance to choose good over evil with out government interference. It allows us to learn from mistakes when we choose we learn from our mistakes. Look at prohibition, its still there in the constitution. Is drinking a good think to stop, think of the advantages! I don’t drink. Yet it failed to make this country better and made it worse. Via the mobs. The government took on something that may have been good and choose for us. That violated freedom to choose the right thing, it took that choice from you. IT screwed things up. Things like religion are not forced on us and hence can not be used for political purposes. We because we can tell others to jump off the nearest cliff. Even if we say jump politely because we gain something by being polite and by helping others to be polite. We also gain alot by learning persuasion. Now if the government forces a good thing on us like politeness what do we get? Politically Correct theology or political correctness from a government. That term sounds familar where did I hear it hmm… Oh yes Stalins reeducation camps. Political Officers on subs. KGB spys secert police for internal maters. Remeber in Russia you couldn’t choose the right thing it was choosen for you. Socilism may be a better way do things as a community, have a tax thats voleentary to help what ever but it has to be an indivduals choice or basicly you lose something more important than life.
Read the decleration of independence. What greviences violated that freedom. What system was there to fix those violations, just war. What is the genius of our system there is a system to fix things with out war. What is the guarantee of that system. Our selves, our guns, and our sacred honnor. But our system was so good that we only had to do that once, the civil war, with slavery to fix that. Even the civil rights movement was within that system.
You want America to be the leader of the world in freedom, teach the world how to use persuasion without the force of arms. I know I just said that Iraq was justified and it was by force of arms. I know that our solders and even more Iraq’s solders whom we teach so we can get the , well leave, but how long should we persuade Saddam, 14 years? Should we have ignored the situation there are good reasons for doing so. How can we do that every where. If we teach or promote freedom (same difference in the words) will government take us seriously if we never stand up for someone nether can we promote freedom with out allowing others to make mistakes. Iraq (some) resents us for interfering. Yet they are better off. Isn’t interfering, or invading taking people’s freedom of choice. So what helps more people, the answer isn’t force or God would use that on us. The answer isn’t a lack of force or what is Justice. I think it is delaying instant justice, and in the mean time use propaganda (persuasion).
Now speaking of justice. I don’t think the US should be out there always persuading and provideing justice. I think it is a valuable service to the world, to be sure, but why should we be in Iraq and Darfur and Columbia. We also can not afford to persuade or force the world into freedom. Leading them via propaganda isn’t horribly expensive, but not trading with countries that are being absolute #*$(*@ is. (fill in your word, but use your imagination and try something that isn’t profanity but gets across the point) So as we are weighing peoples lives in the balance what should we do? I weighed lives and money and ability in this decision to say that going to Iraq was the right thing. Now I also think that no one else is doing any such thing. I think that they feel that no good has come from Iraq. I think that they don’t respect Bush for doing that because he is a republican. I think that is stupid. What does parties have to do with this? Why are democrats always against war and republicans always for it? Is that last sentence true? No. That is an insult to both. Or course when I look at Congress and their approve rating of 22 percent on the high end maybe we should find out why both parties should be insulted. And what the east coast was thinking when they chose our candidates.
I am sure glad I have the freedom to ponder those questions! I hope that Iraq will gain that. I hope that political Islam won’t take over the middle east like it has in Iran and Syria. I hope the Israel will remain free and alive because they are free. I see Palestine and morn because they are not free. They are enslaved by Hamas, Syria , Hezbollah, and yes even the UN as there only source of income and are forced to follow those organizations. Yes I will admit that each of the above helps the poor. I will admit the UN feeds millions of “refugees” and that out of all of the groups is the best force there is. The UN also acts as a government dole and all of the shackles that offers. If you want to see those shackles, read about the Soviet Union with their constitution that reads darn near like ours with respect to freedom. If you don’t like non fiction read fantasy. The Honor Harrington Books by David Weber. The Peoples Republic with their BLS (basic living Stypind) and there Economic bill of rights give a good idea of what freedoms this type of thinking gives.
To conclude America’s experiment is a success. Even with our warts. We are still learning. I am human and something I said probably was not the whole truth. Probability of that is 1. I enjoy comments and corrections. I also just tried to kick over every political anthill I could, for other wise we won’t learn and you or I will get locked into a false thought patterns. Also this stuff deals with religion. The basic underlying theory of this comes from religion, not preached doctrine but my interpretation of preached doctrine. I have talked about justified killing. I hope someone will refine a point or two of this before it becomes policy of the US. I am open to learning but I still think that every thing I wrote here is a conservative view point. Yes this all seems black and white. So I won’t be surprised to see a different point.

GO Obama

Finally, Obama came out with some sensible statements against Wright. He said the exact right thing. He has given little reason to think that he does not mean it. You don’t have my vote but you have more of my trust.

Fun- Darth Vader sin and repentence
March 25, 2008 · 1 Comment
Light heartedness is here. All I need to know I learned from Star Wars.
Darth Vader did he repent? Was it one of those deathbed repentances that don’t work? The man of a thousands Sins and one virtue. After all he killed the emperor which allowed the rebellion to win during the confusion and rebellion, he allowed billions to be freed. He also allowed billions to be enslaved. He did it to save his son because his wife didn’t make it. If the light side force is a sort of priesthood. It is a force inseparable connected with righteousness. Did a man really come from slave to superpower evil to hate of evil to death? Did he really have a change of heart? The man was responsible for genocide, how far can you go before the spirit of the universe (name changed to protect me from blasphmey) can’t come back?

Net Neutrality
March 24, 2008 · No Comments
Save the Internet.com. Here are the highlights. Big Corporations, what else are they lying about. Net Neutrality is about ending discrimination. Website will be discriminated against based on content. Bipartisian deal legistration is about to fix the error of the FCC.
All of these are horrible things that are mentioned. Can I see corporation’s doing that. Enron anyone. 1960’s anyone. Dare I say it people anyone(for the website will be…). Yea, so what are the facts? You know the context. Uhmm…. Not really there. Check out their FAQ. They back nothing up with one exception. The highlights are the topic sentences but the paragraphs don’t give you anything to look up or read in the body of text right there. They do give a link to what the corperations own statements are. No I did not click on it nor fact check it. Why? The whole site screams propaganda. The Highlights are it. I DON”T trust it now.
The newspaper endorsements given at the bottom of the page tend to be left leaning as far as I know. The NYTIMES and the LA TIMES for example. I don’t know about the one in New Mexico.
MY Question is,” What is in this legislation?” A bigger questions is “What right or responsibility am I as a citizen going to have to let the government barrow with little hope of deregulation, aka return of, to get rid of “discrimination, lying corporations telling you what they are going to do”? Why do I feel this is going to be akin to affirmative action a temporary program that may or may not have worked at integrating us to feel as one nation. But it is still going on, what, 3 decades later.
I will have to look into it, since save the internet didn’t. I might have to worry about more govenment regulations against corporation. I might be working for it some day. Get back to you.

All Current Candidates Champion Costly Overhead Climite Change Laws
March 19, 2008 · No Comments
Global Warming is a false threat in my opinion. The Government wants to tackle that “problem” by doing things that are less effective and hurt all humans, not just Americans. And they want to do it with a third overhead. The UN. which the government funds 60% anyway. The Climate changes anyway, the changes are not all us, nor do I think that a warmer globe is an intrinsically bad thing. The only evidence to the contrary, a movie, the Day after Tomorrow,a UN report, has to be no altruistic other motives, scientists, who could be wrong and have other scientists who are respected who disagree and scientists must have a narrow view because values don’t have a place there, oh and Al Gore with celebrities.

New York Times/DNC Dean Implys comic allegations
February 23, 2008 · No Comments
Oh this article can’t get any better! This is comedy. Here’s a Link . My Favorite quote,”
In an e-mail sent to donors, McCain campaign manager Rick Davis asked them “to counteract the liberal establishment and fight back against The New York Times.” Aides said it was the most lucrative e-mail of the campaign.
In response, Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean urged voters to “hit back.”
“McCain and the right-wing noise machine will do anything and say anything to win,” Dean said in an e-mail, directing donors to a Web site where they could “match” the McCain fundraising. “Turning an ethics scandal into a fundraising opportunity is just the start, and exactly what you’d expect a team full of lobbyists to come up with.”
Beautiful Response. Dean alleges in one statement, 1 This is an ethics scandal, 2 McCain is guilty of an affair and did inappropriate ‘favors’ for here as a corrupt Senator, 3 Tars and feathers him for a scandal 20 years ago which McCain has had a pivot point. (ie repentence) 4 ignored or not given suffiecent attention to the fact that McCain did watch himself and others on ethics since then, 5 did I metion 20 years ago, 6 This is just ‘the start’, aka That courpt SOB is going to embezal and hoodwink americans out of their just earmarks and line his pockets, 6 He’s got special interests working for him. And here is the beautiful hypocrisy Dean is makeing money off of a statement of McCain’s side. McCain’s sin here was, remember, he turned the NY Times article into a fund raiser when he should have been ashamed of what he was doing.
Some other facts that you might want to remember. The NY Times arcticle said the McCain has constantly fought for ethics since he screwed up by ‘appearing’ to do something wrong. Both sides are guilty as sin for catering to lobbyists.
But the laughs don’t stop there. Recall the the NY Times article was an “News” story not an ‘hatchet’ opinion piece. Here is the quote of the NYT,
” few readers seemed to grasp the “larger point of the story.” Keller said the article, an installment in a broader series of campaign profiles, was meant to point out how the candidate who “prizes his honor above all things” has a history of being careless about his reputation.”
Yep that sounds like a political news opinion. The comedy gets better, ” surprised by the volume of the reaction.” and surprised how “lopsided” public opinion was against the paper’s decision. No Americans might not like cynical articles who release just happens to coincide with a person winning the nomination. Not when they could have dumped this on Americans before Florida and helped push Romney to the fore. Or why this article could have been written while Clinton was running for president. Didn’t you guys like Hillary. Wasn’t she having some bad press lately that this article disappeared. Maybe it was the unsolicited Mudsling in February. Maybe they didn’t like how you stabbed him in the back after endorsing him as the best Republican for the “progressive” movement.

unacceptable sicko
June 30, 2007 · No Comments
I read a CNN article with issues in it like health care, Michal Moore, The UN specificly WHO, and it relates to Illegal Immigration and Medicare. It is the dream article to tear down. Why tear down? Because there is a better way then Federalized Health Care. An excerpt is at the bottom, it might be helpful to read it first.
We spend a lot of money, Duh we develop medicine, we have extra money, about 4 % it looks like. Money represents work, if more money ie work does not produce something better, yes we have a problem. What is the problem? Maybe excess paperwork, law suit, government interference, market forces (yes they can be a problem right now, nurses aren’t valuable to the tune of 40/per hour for the work they do there is a scarcity of nurses) and a lack of young people to fill positions. By the way I am against federalized national health care in case that wasn’t obvious. There are other ways to to solve problems without bankrupting we the people.
WHO (World Health Org. )doesn’t like us, what else is new, neither does the UN. Still we do a pretty good job of health care as stated in the last Paragraph of the article that no one reads while browsing. Grrrrrr. What values did we fall short on for health care for? One leaps off of the page at me. “…how the care’s paid for…” hmm so because we don’t have government healthcare and people abuse the emergency room ether because they aren’t citizens, or happen to be poor we must have the 37th best health care in the world. In other words preventive maintenance of health should be the responsibility of the government.
My argument is No, this is a false statement. We do not have 37th best health care and our problems are not government derived for the most part. Therefore the government can stay ‘far far away’ from health care. FDA yes, Comrade’s Welfare and Health agency no. People are responsible for their health a lot of the time. People do the best you can and some of this problem goes away. Government, Build a fence and millions of people won’t come and destroy the southwest ER. Does that sound heartless, yes but the alternative is worse. Alot of health care or none. If we have some order we will actually be able to provide for everyone through charities, there is enough and to spare. Does order have to come from the government, no. Is Medicare is efficient? NO! What world are you living in, in 2020 (2013?) what happens? Program goes bye bye. Don’t believe me read the General Accounting Office’s report, pick a year any year.
Lines I am responding to CNN article on Sicko.
“Again, that’s true. The United States spends more than 15 percent of its GDP on health care — no other nation even comes close to that number. France spends about 11 percent, and Canadians spend 10 percent.
Like Moore, we also found that more money does not equal better care. Both the French and Canadian systems rank in the Top 10 of the world’s best health-care systems, according to the World Health Organization
. The United States comes in at No. 37. The rankings are based on general health of the population, access, patient satisfaction and how the care’s paid for.
So, if Americans are paying so much and they’re not getting as good or as much care, where is all the money going? “Overhead for most private health insurance plans range between 10 percent to 30 percent,” says health-care analyst Paul Keckley. Overhead includes profit and administrative costs.
“Compare that to Medicare, which only has an overhead rate of 1 percent. Medicare is an extremely efficient health-care delivery system,” says Mark Meaney, a health-care ethicist for the National Institute for Patient Rights
.”

Mile Post #23
May 30, 2007 · No Comments
http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2007-05-28-federal-budget_N.htm
The above link says that our official deficit is $300 B. The modern accounting practices that congress doesn’t use, says that a more accurate picture is formed by insisting on deducting future debts now. So recalculate and a pay as you go system will cost us( The young people) $1.9 T The programs Social Secrutity and Medicare will kill us unless we (the young people) A) Have lots of Kids to have them pay the bills and shut down the program for them or B) Play for time, allow 3 percent of the social security and Medicare accounts taxes go to savings accounts, thus increasing money in the private sector and have a better economy help pay SOME of the Bill. Lower Taxes increase revenue for governments. Which means spending has to drop. or C) just take away benefits from me and my parents, ending the programs now. Really I think AARP just lost whatever of my or my parents business they ever had a chance of getting. Along with any one who spouts off LB Johnson’s drivel again. (LB is a president who changed SS and Medicare from FDR’s Plan (dare I say it?) “B” for those lacking history’s knowledge at their fingertips. Though you have the internet it should be easy enough to verify the names with the programs. Go work for your knowledge.) I should note that I believe “W” spouted off some of that drivel. Unfortunately so did Hillary, Obama, Edwards, Kerry, Gore,Pelosi, McCain, Shumer, Hagel just off the top of my head. So I guess my vote will go to those who advocate a boarder fence, I’ll even give them amnesty with a fine attached.
